We stopped in to Bayou Wilderness RV Resort planning on staying one night. My wife had a medical emergency and had to be hospitalized the very next morning.
Fantastic campground for overnight or to use as base while exploring Lafayette. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Well-maintained and clean. Pull-thru sites with full-hookups. Good Sam discount.
Every effort was made by them to make our difficult time a little bit easier.
My family and I love staying here. Large pull through spots with full hookups and cable. Our kids love the pool with water slides & the playground. Bathhouse is very clean and plenty of washers & dryers for extended stays. You will not find a better owner and staff, super helpful and friendly. We Love it!
Awesome place. Nice camping area. Shaded, and the pond in the middle. Very relaxing. Owners are cool. Come visit. And pass a good time
My husband and I travel year round and live in multiple rv parks. The Bayou Wilderness is one of our favorites. You never have to worry about anything. Safe, gated, clean, pet friendly, has a pool & playground onsite for the kids. Laundry, small convenient store. Awesome family environment. I'd recommend everyone to come here and bring the kids!!
The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. They were extremely concerned kept asking about my wife and even made accommodations so we could stay much longer.
The park itself is very nice with level sites.
We will be coming back here. Outstanding Park.
